This rock star style headset boom microphone is awesome! The user connects her MP3 player (plugs in) to the transmit module, which she can clip to her pants. There's an elastic band on the module to keep the Mp3 player in place as well. The user then turns on the module and puts on the microphone headset. In the presence of an FM radio tuned to 100.1 (like the previous FM wireless Microphone) the transmitter sends the music from the mp3 player, and the voice from the microphone, to the radio, so the user can hear herself singing on the radio. The unit also has independent volume control for music and voice, so the user can adjust accordingly.
